Trans.au is a national directory of trans and gender diverse services, community groups and supportive businesses.
We help direct trans and gender diverse Australians towards the services that they need to access to affirm their gender and transition. The directory recognises that trans and gender diverse people need services beyond medical services, like hair dressers and gyms where they can have affirming experiences.
We also share information and news about organisations that make a difference to our community and track media stories and announcements that are of interest to our community and our supporters.
Trans.au launched in November 2023 and is in the process of establishing itself as a not for profit charity.
Trans.au was founded on unceded Aboriginal Land. We acknowledge Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples, their Ancestors and Elders past and present. We recognise the ongoing connection Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples have to the land, waterways, air, and people.
We acknowledge First Nations Peoples resilience and strength – especially that which we see in Brotherboys and Sistergirls who always have been and always will be an important part of Aboriginal culture and community.
