Minds of Colour Psychology is a telehealth clinical psychology practice based in NSW supporting people across Australia. The practice works with trans and gender diverse people, neurodivergent individuals, and those navigating identity, life transitions and minority stress.
Services include psychosocial assessments supporting access to gender-affirming medical care:
-Pubertal suppression
-Gender-affirming hormone therapy (GAHT)
-Mental health reviews for informed consent
-WPATH surgery letters
The process focuses on understanding a person’s identity, wellbeing, support systems and readiness for care, and results in a comprehensive report that can be provided to medical practitioners when considering gender-affirming treatment.
The practice also offers autism and ADHD assessments for young people (12+) and adults, as well as therapy for adults exploring identity, neurodivergence, burnout and intersectional stress.
If seeking medicare rebates for therapy, discuss a Mental Health Treatment Plan (MHTP) with your GP. Professional referrals and self-referrals welcome.
