Anna Piper-Scott and Maddy Weeks are highlights of the all-trans lineup at the inaugural Gender Reveal Gala.
Transgender Victoria has showcased vibrant and diverse talent and diversity with their lineup for the upcoming Gender Revel Gala.
An extravagant and euphoric evening celebrating the start of Trans Month, the Gala includes the presentation of the inaugural Trans Visibility Awards.
“We’re extremely excited to present this all-trans lineup for the Gender Revel Gala,” said Son Vivienne, CEO of Transgender Victoria.
“From the music and comedy performances to the presentation of the Trans Visibility Awards, we are committed to celebrating trans excellence across our communities.”
“We invite all TGD people and their allies to come along, dress to the nines and enjoy a night of euphoria.”
The Gala, which takes place on 1st November at Collingwood Town Hall will be a dazzling cocktail night of revelry.
An amazing lineup of talent
Entertainment highlights for the Gender Reveal Gala include the incomparable gender transcendent diva Mama Alto.
As well as Maddy Weeks fresh from their nomination for Best Newcomer at the 2024 Melbourne International Comedy Festival.
Pop sensation Robert Baxter will perform tracks from their debut EP “You Wouldn’t Expect Cupid To Cry,” released earlier this year.
Singer-songwriter extraordinaire Rosie Rai will be serenading us on the piano with some smooth tunes.
The self-described “homosexual DJ with big wine mum energy”, DJ GAY DAD will keep the party going with their infectious beats.
The entire evening will be MC’d by the incomparable and hilarious Anna Piper Scott, following her sold-out Melbourne Fringe show “T4T” and appearances at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival.
The Gala is a trans-centric experience open to all allies who want to support their loved ones and amplify the joy of gender euphoria.

Last month Transgender Victoria announced that November will be a month-long celebration of their communities.
Under the theme “Our Strength, Our Joy, Ourselves,” Trans Month 2024 features a range of trans-centric events and initiatives.
“Trans Month is about connecting our transgender, gender diverse and non-binary communities with one another and our allies,” Son said.
“to celebrate our collective fortitude and fabulousness in the face of enormous challenges to our well-being.”
Events include a Trans Parent Morning Tea, a panel about racism, ableism, and transphobia facilitating organisational change and more.
The Trans Month program begins with the Gender Revel Gala and concludes with the Trans Pride Picnic.
Along with Trans Awareness Week and Trans Day of Remembrance.
