Your Voice- with Paige Duggan, is a voice teacher with more than 10 years teaching experience and 20 years as a professional musician behind her. A portion of her practice is dedicated to helping Trans, Gender Diverse and queer people find or re-find their singing voice, including those who are undergoing or following hormone therapy and experiencing voice change or those wishing to ‘find their voice’ which better aligns with their gender identity and truth. This also includes helping people find their ‘big’ and heal if they’ve been made to shrink themselves or feel small in relationships and socially.
Paige is dedicated to best-practice and keeps abreast of latest research into vocal pedagogy and techniques to help all voices, including trans folk, in healthy and successful ways. She also has a background in social welfare, with trauma education and incorporates Strengths Based Theory, Feminist Theory, Self Determination and Empowerment into her vocal teaching practice. Paige herself is a member of the rainbow world and has trans and gender diverse family members.
She teachers from her home studio in Central Ballarat and can also do online lessons for those further afield.
