headspace is a free youth mental health service for young people aged 12-25 years.
We are a family inclusive practice that welcome people of all nationalities, religions, ethnicities, sexualities and genders.
We provide early intervention and prevention support around mental health issues such as anxiety, low mood, managing stress, school, relationship and friendship difficulties along with exploring sexuality and gender identity, just to name a few! headspace has four core streams 1. Mental health support 2. Physical & Sexual health support 3. Drug & Alcohol support 4. Work & Study support.
We have a ‘no wrong door policy’ meaning that if we are not the right service for young people and their families then we will help to link them up to a more appropriate service that can meet their needs.
Our team consists of:
- Youth Access Clinicians who provide care coordination for young people and their families
- Mental Health Clinicians who provide evidence based psychological support
- GPs to assist with physical and sexual needs as well as mental health concerns
Referrals can be made by anyone via phone, email or walk in.
