The Trans Justice Project has started a petition urging Immigration Minister Tony Burke to deny entry to Kellie-Jay Keen-Minshull, also known as Posie Parker. As I revealed earlier this month, she’s planning to visit Australia in October to speak at the Conservative Political Action Conference in Brisbane.

“Allowing Kellie-Jay Keen-Minshull to campaign in Australia again puts the safety and wellbeing of our community at risk. That’s why we urgently call on Minister Tony Burke to use his powers under the Migration Act to deny her entry into Australia.”, the petition reads.

“We know we can make this happen because in 2019 the government denied entry to alt-right ideologue Milo Yiannopoulos on character grounds. If we can make enough noise, we can force the government to act again,” it continues.

CPAC has admitted that Kellie-Jay Keen’s visit is “Subject to visa” in promotional materials emailed out earlier today.
